About France and The French Riviera

The is so much to know about France.  France is situated in Western Europe and had Paris as it’s capital. The country has a diverse landscape and climate. With a land area of over 500,000 square kilometres, it is the second largest country in Europe and has a population around 60 million. There are numerous regions such as Normandy to the North with its cathedrals and castles, the Loire Valley with its beautiful countryside, Burgandy famous for its wines and food, the Pyrenees with its mountain chains, Languedoc with its medieval towns and of course Provence with its vineyards.

Along the coast of Provence you will find the Cote D’Azur or French Riviera as its know in English. The Riviera is home to the super rich and includes the resorts of Nice, Cannes, St Tropez and Monaco.
